Review on GOSH Forever eyeshadow stick + quick and simple how to

Since the first time I swatched these sticks in the store I have been asking myself: "Why aren't anybody talking about this!?"
These eyeshadow sticks are crazy pigmented!! I just can't stop raving about them! They come in different matte and shimmery colors. All very useful in creating different eye looks.
I have three different colors:

As you may be able to see on my swatches those matte colors are to die for. I use the shade "nougat" the most and did my "how to" with this color as well. Unfortunately it was a very bright day and I did have some troubles taking a good picture.
Btw you will probably notice that I'm not the greatest photographer and I'm just using a standard iPad. I am editing my pics a bit, so you can see details a little better.
The matte colors are also great as a base for your eyeshadow. They are really long lasting and don't smudge.
The shimmery shadows are very shimmery - actually kind af glittery - which I don't use that much at this moment. But sometimes when I want a bit of "pop" I will apply the shimmer shadow from the inner corner of my eye, blending it in to around the middle of my eyelid - just above my pupil. I don't use it to highlight my brown one or anything like that. It's to glittery and pigmented for that in my opinion.

Quick tutorial on how I apply the stick some mornings when I'm in a crazy rush and don't have time and just want a bit of shadow and definition.

Firstly I apply the stick in the outer corner of my eye. Where you see the star. I just apply two lines that point outwards like a sideways "V".

Then I just blend it. I am using a Morphe Brush here, but any kind of blending brush will do. I am slanting the brush. That way I am more in control of the way the bristles are moving.

Finished look. A nice quick and simple "no makeup" look. After blending the shadow towards the middle of the eye, I would advice on applying a quick dust af a lighter shade or nude shade from the inner corner and out. I already had some old eyeliner on which I just retouched for this look.

That was quick, right?!

I give GOSH Eyeshadow sticks 4,5 out of 5:

Pro's:
+ Amazing pigmentation
+ Long lasting
+ Creamy without smudging
+ Easy to apply
+ Blends super easily
+ Drugstore (price)
+ Waterproof

Con's:
- Shimmer stick a bit too glittery.

All in all, if you are able to get GOSH anywhere nearby you, then just try and swatch them.. I dare you! ;-)

Please leave me a note telling me what you think of the eyeshadow sticks?

Kisses!

It's Skin - Neon Nail Collection

This weekend I got a new nail polish. More often than not I order cosmetic and skin care from South Korea. Also know as K-beauty. Now, firstly, let me clarify, I am not a K-beauty pro! I know a thing or two but I am not claiming to be any kind of pro on this subject.
Some time I can introduce you to my way of shopping K-beauty and I will be reviewing more products. Let me know if you are interested in more info!?

Now, with that disclaimer  out of the way I want to introduce you to this nail polish from the brand "it's skin".  I ordered it on eBay on June 30th and it arrived on the 16th of July.  Which is pretty decent if you ask me. ( in terms of shipping from Asian countries).
I don't wear a lot of hot pink nail polish that I was interested in seeing whether or not the neon was neon enough for me. Some times neon polishes disappoint after application.  I often find the formulas to be disappointing.  Probably because more often than not they are made by some off brand discount brand.  What's your opinion?  Do you find many great neon polishes?

The price was around 3 dollars or 20kr. I applied it the day before yesterday and I've been to work today were I am also working in a kitchen doing dishes etc.
I have just taken these photos and as you are might able to see - they are holding up pretty nice!
I'm impressed. So far the polish hasn't chipped and it seems to be going strong still.

The color is hot HOT hot pink. It's true to color and is the same color on the nail as in the bottle.. I've applied two coats. I think it would be better had I used a white base coat so that I wouldn't be able to see my own nail peaking through. But I wanted to test the polish out on its own.
So,

I give this polish a 4/5

+ Price!
+ True to color
+ Longevity
+ Easy to apply (doesn't streak)

- Not full coverage

The first blog

Firstly I would like to start by apologizing that I'm not yet sure whether or not I'm going to be blogging in English or Danish. I think I'm going to give it a go in Danish and then we'll see from there.
This blog is going to involve the thoughts and comments I have on makeup, beauty and other products in that categorie.
I am going to share my best tips and tricks with you so that you to can try makeup application "my way".
I have been in to makeup and beauty products since I was twelve years old and now, 16 years later, I have decided to try sharing whatever knowledge I have.
I hope you will enjoy or at least feel inspired.
Lastly, this is my first ever blog in any way or form, so it'll probably be quite a mess in the beginning. Forgive me! :-)

Xoxo,
